Small groups at Landisville began over 20 years ago and continue to be a vital ministry among us. There are currently 12 small groups in our congregation, mostly organized around same life stage. Most groups meet twice a month for support and fellowship. In addition, some groups include Bible study or a book/video discussion. A number of groups have been together for more than 10 years, but others have changed composition several times. Our intention is to welcome new attendees into groups so that they can more quickly become assimilated in our church. Each group is annually asked to review their experience and provide feedback. This provides opportunity to exit a group if a person desires this. We want to be clear that participating in a group is not a life-time commitment. The Minister of Pastoral Care gives oversight to the formation of small groups and resources facilitators.
